This is a great science and creativity based day out. They also have a planetarium that has bookable shows and events.
As far as I'm concerned Bristols best museum - mainly for kids but its a science museum so its brilliant for adults too...
Found on Bristol’s harbourside, We the Curious is full of different experiences, where you can interact with exhibits and take part in experiments.
Kids will be able to indulge whilst you also get involved or take a step back. Great coffee, UKs only 3D planetarium (book it when you arrive their) and tons of eateries nearby.
Science lovers and enquiring minds will love this hands-on activity centre located on Bristol's harbourside. Aimed more at children (although adults will be equally engrossed) it provides hours of educational fun and challenge.
“The aquarium is in the centre of Bristol and it has a fantastic selection of fish. It is perfect trip on a rainy day but will not fill the whole day so plan to have another place to go to also. There is also a good gift shop and cafe there.”
“Located in Bristol's harbour, this vibrant museum tells Bristol's industrial history and hosts various special collections. Free to visit although there may be a charge for some exhibitions. ”
“Brunel's magnificent screw-propeller iron steamship is now a wonderful museum. Launched in 1843 to great acclaim, her rusting hulk was rescued from the Falkland Islands, towed back to Bristol, and now conserved for posterity. Makes a fascinating day trip out.”
“This is well worth the ticket price, and crams a full day into its relatively small size. You won't find big animals here (see instead its sister site: Wild Place Project) but it is chokka full with animals and activities that adults and children alike can enjoy.”
