This is a small but interesting spot in Valencia with Roman ruins. Free entrance on Sundays, otherwise just 2 Euros

Archaeology Museum in El Carmen. Even without entering you can catch a peak at some old city ruins under a glass roof.

History Museum
“This is a good museum about the different periods of the history of the beautiful city of Valencia. The artifacts and objects on display were very nicely presented. There are loads of interactive things too which I think are great for kids too (it is also fun as an adult! :D) with videos, video subtitles for hard of hearing guests, and more. I really liked the interior of the museum too (an old aqueduct I believe) , there were information books in English and other languages so that all the descriptions of things on display were accessible in different languages. ”

Place of Worship
“Built in 1548, monument of the Valencian Renaissance that nowadays is the Valencian Library. Historic building that deserves a visit, and rarely gets noticed by tourism agencies, and I personally consider a true gem.”

“Everyone has heard of Semana Santa in Seville. But Valencia is famous for its Holy Week by the Sea. Take a peak at the colorful costumes . Come back at Easter to my flat and see all the processions from my balcony. (Pictures have been uploaded)”
