The only Irish bar in downtown Wilmington and a favorite local spot. If you're trying to catch a soccer match this is the spot. The owner will be down early with the game on and the drinks flowing. It may also be one of the best people watching spots in the city, if that's something you're into.

Man, this place is a scene! And the party never stops! Even in the middle of a hurricane, Slainte never shuts down. Stagers hang out on the front benches to watch the nightly downtown parade. Good chance you'll see Pontiac neighbors there! If they're drinking shots of Jameson picklebacks, do not try to keep up!!!
