There are public access points along Bonita Beach Road, parking spaces are free but very limited amount of them, look for the blue signs they are numbered 1-10 and #10 has the most amount of spaces.

This beach is full of shells. Make sure you wear shoes, even sandals can be quite difficult.

If you were to drive south on Estero BLVD from Fort Myers Beach, you would pass Lovers key State Park then end at Bonita Beach, a beautiful white sand small beach...just before it takes you off the island and can circle back north on Tamiami Trail back to Estero Blvd!

This beach is a nice place to go with families. Lots of parking, rest rooms, picnic areas and sugary sand. It’s also right next to DOCS BEACH HOUSE BAR AND RESTAURANT where you can get all kinds of food. Docs also has confessions for water sports and outdoor seating.

There are so many wonderful sites in the Bonita Springs/Ft. Myers area. Naples, Ft. Myers, Venice on the Beach, Bonita Beach, Cape Canaveral (day trip), Florida Keys, Barefoot Beach, Alligator Alley
