Ayr Racecourse There are a number of flat meetings throughout the summer including the Ayr Gold Cup in September. There are also a number of jump meetings throughout the winter including the Scottish Grand National in April.

Just 7.9 miles outside of Dunure is Ayr Racecourse - home to the Scottish Grand National and Ayr Gold Cup.

Ayr Racecourse is Scotland’s only Grade 1 track and home to the jewels in the crown of Scottish Racing – the Coral Scottish Grand National Festival in April and the William Hill Ayr Gold Cup Festival in September. In 2019 we have 32 fixtures, many of them having live entertainment. There is something for everyone at Scotland’s premier racecourse.
