Silver Dollar is a favorite of ours, and is just three houses away! They have an amazing brunch on weekends and a fantastic dinner menu and rotating drink menu as well. (They are only open for dinner on weeknights.) Highly recommend the chicken and waffles or the molletes. I'd also recommend a reservation if you're planning to during a typically busy restaurant time (Friday nights, Sunday brunch...)

Hands down the best coffee shop in Louisville! Expert baristas and a really fun atmosphere. Great for studying, playing games, or just hanging out. Right next to the famous Nord's Bakery too!

If you are a donut fan, you have to try Nord's while in Louisville! They have been ranked top 10 donuts in the US by New York Times, and have won oodles of local awards as well. Right next to our favorite coffee shop, Sunergos. They will sell out on Saturday mornings- plan to be there before 10!

Delicious New York style pizza. You can buy by the slice, or whole pizzas- our favorite is to split a calzone. They are definitely big enough to share between 2-3 people. They also have a coin arcade in the back which is always fun.

Sightseeing
Walk from Kentucky to Indiana over the Ohio river for a beautiful view of the city and the river! It's a fun walk and there is a nice park as well as a frozen yogurt place and pizza place just off the bridge in Indiana.
