Pratt Rock is a fun place for a hike there is also local swimming hole.

From the entrance to Pratt Rock, follow Route 23 towards Prattsville and in less than a mile you’ll go over a bridge, where you can see the water and swimming area to your left. Park on the left hand side in the overgrown parking lot, just past where you see the dam.
This is a beautiful location, and definitely a local swimming hole.

The estate was home to Frederic Edwin Church, one of the major figures in the Hudson River School of landscape painting. The interior of the house is full of artwork and inspiration from Frederic and his wife's travels and the views are breathtaking.
