You will need a vehicle to get to this restaurant in Kukljica, but it's a favorite among the locals. The food is fresh, with authentic Mediterranean recipes. I highly recommend making a reservation, as it's quite popular.

Although in ruins today is the favorite resort of the island of Ugljan which offers a spectacular view of the city of Zadar and more than 200 islands of the Zadar archipelago and National Park Kornati.

I highly recommend exploring this area if you appreciate nature. The scent of pine trees and the soothing sound of crickets make it truly special. Whether you prefer walking or cycling, you'll find both experiences to be absolutely stunning.

Šćah, the highest peak on the island of Ugljan, offers a thrilling advanture for those who enjoy trekking rocky paths and immersing themselves in the beauty of nature. Finding the starting point may be a bit challengig, but the locals living beneath were generous enough to guide us in the right direction. Once we reached the starting point, the trail was well-marked all the way to the top of the peak.

Walking or cycling? Both.
Kali is small village where everything is within walking distance. But if you're a biking freak, you also have the option to rent bicycles and explore the island more extensively.

Ear ache alert!
Our beautiful sea attracts many visitors who love to spend time in it, which is great. But excessive snorkeling or diving can lead to ear problems,especially for those not accustomed to it. If you or your children have a history of ear issues, it's wise to have your usual medication on hand, just in case.
