In the winter there's always an open fire and if you're lucky you'll hear local folk musicians jamming in the beer garden. They have a pool table too! It's about a mile and a half walk from the house along a quiet road.

A huge lake on the edge of Keswick town. Boats can be rented or swimmers can brave the cold! It can be walked around in afternoon.
