There is a very good health centre in town with doctors & nurses. 2 chemists in town, bakers, butchers, newspapers & tobacco, cafés, post office, tourist office, dry cleaners, banks & many other shops. On Wednesday there is a market. You can draw Euros out using bank cards otherwise come armed with your Euros as the nearest bureau de change is at Barneville Carteret post office. For A & E there is a hospital at both Cherbourg & Coutances.
