The Talbot is a great gastro pub serving great food. There's a lively atmosphere and the restaurant area is quite intimate. I'd recommend.

This is a very cool bar/gallery & eatery. Serving beautiful, very unusual cocktails in unusual glasses over a huge concrete table filling the room. Also a gallery and serving asian food, this place is a favourite and just a 5min walk. http://www.untitled-bar.com

Simple Shoreditch has 400 bars and over 200 restaurants, so there is plenty to do on that level. Head to Redchurch st for the grown up and more refined bars/restaurants. Also Brick Lane Market and Spitalfields Market is close by for clothes/fashion, craft products and food.

London Fields for a walk is also lovely old small part to take a stroll around. Beautiful walk along the canal to get to it, at a leisurely stroll allow 15mins

A beautiful old, small park just a 15/20min stroll down the canal and through Broadway Market. It has a 50 meter olympic sized outdoor heated lido.
