The perfect merge of food, nightlife, entertainment and activities! GREAT pizza, both standard AND GLUTEN-FREE, in a cool hip atmosphere with games and great music and cocktails like "Cinnamon Toast Crunch"!

As a paleo eater myself, I'm always on the hunt for great gluten/dairy/soy-free grab&go options - and this place is really fantastic. The kale summer rolls are out of this world, they also have GREAT snacks to take with you throughout the day (all natural Funyuns!!) and it's directly on the way between my place and Williamsburg proper. I cannot say that it's the most economical choice, but paleo-friendly grab&go rarely is.

Another incredible grab & go option for people with specific dietary restrictions - they have a Greek salad with cashew feta that will blow your mind - and I'm originally from outside of Boston where every pizza parlor is run by Greeks so I don't play when it comes to Greek salad. Also amazing juices and smoothies, and a HUGE shop with lots of totally expensive things you definitely don't need but would make great gifts for yourself or others.

The best bloody mary in New York. Seriously. Amaaaazing brunch - I've only been there for brunch so I can't vouch for lunch or dinner but I have every reason to believe it's just as incredible. WARNING - cash only. I know I know.

Don't let the industrial surroundings/door that looks like you're walking into a tool shed fool you - THE CLINTONS EAT HERE. Known for their pizza but baller at everything on the menu. Secret three-figure prix fixe restaurant in the back with a maximum capacity of 12. If you want in on that I can get you more details...

When I lived in Williamsburg I ate here.... at least three times per week. The most rock solid recommendation I have. If they have their hush puppies on the menu, GET THEM.

If you're looking for a gay bar - this is where to start. You will meet lots of great new friends here who will give you lots more recommendations better than I could, but this is the epicenter of the gay scene in Brooklyn for all genders and gender identities and sexual identities. Very straight people-friendly as well!

HUGE park with lots of different nooks and features. Great running track, loads and loads of trees to laze under, PRIME Brooklyn People-watching.

Probably my favorite park in New York besides the Cloisters. I used to live a few blocks away - in a GIANT duplex for less than I'm paying now - and the proximity of this park is seriously the thing I miss most about that apartment. These trees - I don't know what kind of tree they are - but so cinematic and stunning in every season - huge weird Greek column/arch structure in the middle, GREAT Farmer's Market on the weekends, quieter and more private than McCarren.
