One of the nicer Mexican restaurants that is within walking distance. Ceviche and Carnitas are my go-tos and they're margaritas are delicious!
Note: there is generally a wait for this restaurant if you don't have a reservation, but you can call and put your name on the call wait list the night of and walk over when your table is ready!

The Panhandle area of Golden Gate Park is located just a few blocks from my place. From there you can walk all the way through the park, including the Academy of Science, Conservatory of Flowers, De Young Museum, Japanese Tea Garden etc...

Best view of the city is from the top of Corona Heights in my opinion. There's a dog park and a short incline hike to the peak of Corona. If you walk here from my apartment, you'll also get to enjoy Buena Vista Park.
