If you want to go visit one of the best beaches in Cebu, you may want to travel 2-3 hours north of Cebu by land and another 45 minute ferry ride to Bantayan island. Kota Beach resort is in front of Sugar beach, Santa Fe and the newer Anika Beach resort is also in Santa Fe. Accommodations are also available at Santa Fe Beach club. Don't miss going to Virgin Island for a day trip. You won't regret it.

This island is also north of Cebu but veering northeast. A pump boat can take you to the island in 15-20 mins. There is a bunch of reasonably priced resorts.

I don’t have a personal experience with this place but island hopping is so much fun. Jump off point is usually on the east side of Mactan island. There are preset places that you can snorkel and feed the fish or you can hang out in isolated white sand beaches. Choose your adventure.

Dine Filipino food like crispy pata, fresh and fried lumpia, adobong kangkong, sinigang, pancit palabok. For dessert they have halo halo and puto bongbong with hot pandan tea.
There is another Cafe Laguna in the mall. Same owners and the same good food.
