This is a great trail for everyone. Takes you to some nice lakes, excellent views of some of Canmore's top notch rock climbers. Great any time of day, both summer and winter too.

This trail is tough (steep), but gets you above treeline and onto a summit in short order. You'll enjoy magnificent views of the Bow Valley and all its peaks. The last traverse along the ridge is not for the faint of heart, one can turn around at any point.

This is the best reward for effort hikes. It's a long day, with lots of effort and one little move that requires hands on the rocks... but it's all do-able and the views at the top and in the back valley are breathtaking. Well worth the effort!!!

Heart Creek Trail Head
New exit from Highway 1 to New RoundaboutThis is the best reward for effort hikes. It's a long day, with lots of effort and one little move that requires hands on the rocks... but it's all do-able and the views at the top and in the back valley are breathtaking. Well worth the effort!!!
A local classic. This well-designed trail will bring you above tree line. If you aren't up for the full hike, there is a wonderful lookout part way up that makes a great objective too.
