The bar was designed by Practice Architecture (Paloma Gormley & Lettice Drake), and opened in 2008 by bartender Frank Boxer and chef Michael Davies. Bold Tendencies Bold Tendencies is a summertime non-profit commissioning art project, now in its 10th year. It commissions site-specific works of visual and performing art most noted for large-scale sculpture.
