30 minutes up the hill from Basilwood Farm is Shaver Lake -
one of the most beautiful lakes in California. The little town of Shaver has great little shops and restaurants, and there are several hiking trails in and around the lake for all levels of hikers. The lake is great for boating or just hanging out in one of the Day Use areas. Take your picnic and cool off in the lake.

30 minutes up the hill from Basilwood Farm is Shaver Lake -
one of the most beautiful lakes in California. The little town of Shaver has great little shops and restaurants, and there are several hiking trails in and around the lake for all levels of hikers. The lake is great for boating or just hanging out in one of the Day Use areas. Take your picnic and cool off in the lake.
Only 20 minutes further up the mountain from Shaver Lake. Go for a hike, relax by the lake in one of the Day Use Areas, watch the annual sailing regatta... one of THE most beautiful spots in Central California!
