The Museum is a great place to brush up on the local History of Darwin which was wiped out by a Cyclone on Christmas Eve in 1974. It is also home to Sweetheart the 7m Crocodile which is now on display

Katherine Gorge is an amazing example of how the landscape of the NT has formed over thousands of years. You can get a boat tour up the gorge but if your feeling adventurous i recommend kayaking.
