Biscuits and gravy are quite good. Expect to wait for a seat, especially if your entire party is not yet present. The host is a hoot. He speaks in rhymes and guarantees good times. Only open 6am-2pm. Definitely NOT your go-to spot for dinner or ending a night on the town. But worth the wait to hit this place up the next morning.

Bars in St. Louis, MO close at 3am. That should be plenty of time to get plastered...right? Trust us, nothing good happens on the East Side, especially not after 3am. We don't recommend crossing the river into Illinois. But if you absolutely insist on continuing to drink until the sun comes up, this would be the place to do it. Drinks are overpriced and low-quality, and it's rare to meet a person of high moral fiber here.

Sightseeing
If you insist on seeing the Arch while in town... If you plan to go inside, be warned: the lines are long, the elevators to the top are old and cramped, you must pass through TSA-style security, and the tickets are expensive. The Arch is best viewed from the outside.
