You will note imported products are rather expensive, this is due to high import taxes imposed by the Indonesian government. Locally produced options are readily available and are safe to consume.
Alcohol produced outside of Indonesia attracts up to 150% import duty. If you are looking for a reasonable bottle of wine, don't be afraid to try Two Islands (approx 225,000rp/bottle).

Go-Jek & Grab
Go-Jek & Grab offer the same car service as 'Uber' but also offer a scooter service.
You can download both apps once you arrive in Bali.
You can also order food from restaurants to be deliver to the villa and items from the supermarkets.
Please be aware there are some locations around Canggu that Go-Jek and Grab can not pick up from - mostly from entrances to the beaches.

Hire a driver for the day
If you are keen to do day trips to other parts of the island such as Ubud or Uluwatu it's highly recommended to hire a local driver for the day. Rates are approximately 700,000rp for an 8 hour trip and this includes the driver, car and petrol. Additional fees such as parking are paid in cash direct to the parking areas (most parking areas charge car parking at 5,000rp per park).

Arrival and departure transfers
It is strongly recommended to hire a driver to pick you up at the airport and transfer you to VillaRa.
Whilst the distance from the airport to Canggu is only approx 19km, the average travel time is around 1-1.30 hours due to traffic.
The driver will wait for you at the airport, transfer you to VillaRa and help you check into your room.
The rate is 300,000rp airport to VillaRa is is paid in cash direct to the driver.
If you would like to book an airport transfer please advise your arrival flight number, scheduled arrival time and your WhatsApp.
