Probably the best homemade pasta in town. It is always winning accolades for the risotto, but the service is fantastic and should be noted as well. It is on the fancier side, romantic, and technically a bar, so find a sitter for any kiddos you may be traveling with. I'm happy to help with that as well. Oh, they also have a good happy hour too.

The Rose Gardens are lovely. Even when they are not in bloom, it is a high point which will give you a nice view of the city and Mt Hood.

This is a great place - over 100 years old. It is tiny, but they have a huge beer selection and they stock all sorts of gourmet and specialty foods. The owners are fantastic - very friendly and happy to welcome everyone. My son love to walk there to get ice cream.
