Avalanche Lake is a beautiful hike. It's not very difficult and is usually our first hike of every year. When hiking this trail parts of it make me feel like I am in Narnia!

From Logan's Pass to Grinnell Overlook it is approximately 14 miles round trip. You will want to plan for a pretty long day for this one.

A Fantastic Way to hike this trail is to Park at the loop, take the Shuttle to the Top and then hike back to the Loop.
