Parks & Nature
Follow Hardings Beach Rd to the end and you will find one of our favorite beaches! This beach is on Nantucket Sound. There is a noticeable difference between beaches that are directly on the open ocean and beaches that are on more protected waters like the sound.

The rail trail takes you from Yarmouth to Orleans or to Chatham with plenty of places to park along the route. Cyclists, walkers, runners, skateboarders, roller bladers would all love this trail.

Parking can be difficult here. If you are a strong walker, you can easily walk from town. See the coast guard station and lighthouse. Very cool at night because the lighthouse still operates. Also a nice walkable beach on the Atlantic Ocean.
