This is a great 2 mile round-trip walk from our home. Great birding (there is an active osprey nest), and if you are lucky you will see beavers and turtles in Lake Washington.

Right outside our back door, this is a biking and walking trail that spans from Lake Washington all the way to the Pacific Ocean (about 20 miles of railroad grade pathway). You can take it to get to UW--about a 2 mile trip--or University Village.
