It has been converted into a magnificent hall with bar and eating areas. A definite to see at least over Christmas with its elaborate festive decoration.

A good walk up to the top or the col. Great views and spectacular scenery.
Together with Holyrood Palace with it's art gallery adjacent. Check opening hours. There is a lovely cafe there too. Definitely worth a visit.
