The facility has a listed seating capacity of 93,607 for USC football games, making it the largest football stadium in the Pac-12 Conference, and a capacity of 80,000 for Rams games making the stadium the fourth largest in the NFL.

The stadium has hosted the Major League Baseball All-Star Game as well as World Series games.
The stadium has also hosted a soccer tournaments featuring four clubs, the hometown team Los Angeles Galaxy, and European giants Real Madrid, Everton, and Juventus.

Nearly sixty percent of the entering freshman class are first generation college students. Three quarters of the student body is made up of visible minority students, while women make up nearly 95% of first-year undergraduate students.
