One of the smaller national parks, it is unique in being located within a metro. Deer, birds, butterflies abound. It is open 9-5:30pm & has within it a separate Children's Park and a Snake Park.

The Snake Park in Guindy is cooler than the average city temperature due to its greenery. That makes it a pleasant place for walking around - plus you see some snakes! And crocodiles! And turtles!

The Children's Park part of Guindy allows deer petting, etc., so great for kids. Plus, as it's part of the Guindy national park/ IIT campus, it's green & nice for walking around & picnics.

This is a very big zoo park; they rent out bicycles to get around, that's how big! They have all the big and small animals. My main excitement is some new tiger cubs! There's a 'lion safari' too.
