Has great bakeries, cafes and pubs for a Sunday roast. You also have the Heath which is great for walks and connects you to Greenwich park which also has great views of the city.
Best way to get there is the South Eastern train which runs from platform 1 at Abbey Wood.

This is a lovely market which is on from Wednesday to Saturday. It has great fresh produce and places to eat and drink. The market is only 25 mins from Abbey Wood.
You can also walk along the embankment which has lovely views.

This runs every 5mins from Abbey Wood. It sometimes doesn’t run on Sundays and the last train home is 11pm. Download Citymapper which helps you navigate the city.
