This place does stupendously good fish. Book early for a great Sunday lunch, and get stuck in for most of the afternoon. The LOBSTER and the seabass in salt are both excellent.

Spilling out onto the street, this is a popular and very good tapas bar, serving fresh from the boat seafood and classic tapas. Wines are good, beers are cold!

Los Remos is a Javea classic. Excellent service and great food for all tastes. Specialities are the salt baked seabass and the chuleton de buey. Not for the faint hearted.

If you visit Javea, you can't miss El Montgó. It's that big rocky outcrop on the left side of the bay. Well, you can walk up it! It takes about 3 hours, and the views from the top are astounding.

As well as being a a working fishing port, there are local festivals every weekend in Summer, best of all's the humane bullfight which results in lots of people in the sea!

This is at the other end of Javea, and is another great place to walk. The cliffs are high and the views are good - there's also a great restaurant perched on the cliffs!
