No trip to the South Burnett would be complete without a visit to the picturesque Bunya Mountains. Just a 25 minute drive from bethel cottage, 'the Bunyas', offer 100 reasons to Visit. From a variety of nature walks, riding on the heavy horse drawn wagon, or chilling at one of the scrumptious cafe's. Pack your insect repellent and take a warm jumper, as it can get cold and windy at times.

A friendly local town, famous for its markets and rich Gold mining history. If you are up for more action you can experience the action and do a few laps at South Burnett Kart Hire. There are plenty more things to do as well. Check out the Nanango Tourist information centre for more activities

Kingaroy

Kingaroy is the hub of the South Burnett. You will find all the shops you need, and it is also an ideal place to enter the Kingaroy- Kilkivan rail trail, for an extended walk or bike ride. There are also some lovely parks, of note is Mount w Wooroolin lookout, just a short drive west of Kingaroy, with views over the surrounding farmlands and horizons.
