Ever have tacos in a posh train? This local train station (and train) was converted into a delicious Mexican restaurant in downtown Waukesha. I enjoy going here from time to time and imagine I'm on a luxury liner while I drink a Margarita. This would be a fun experience for any family or couple.

This is by far one of my favorite places in Waukesha. It is a nature center surrounded by tall pine forests. There is a hill where you can look out for miles across Waukesha County.

For those interested in history as well as faith-based communities there is a well-known Bible School in Waukesha called Ethnos 360. The building used to be a plush hotel, then a hospital, and now a Bible School for Tribal Missionaries. They will treat to free meal and show you around if you ask. These are some of the nicest and funnest people you will ever meet.

Locals gather for Square Dancing every Monday at 7:30pm at Casa di Danza. Admission is $5 and there are instructions in-between dances. This is a blast to go to whether for families or couples. The people are very friendly, and ages range from 20 to 70.
