Chitkul is a beautiful quaint village in the middle of nowhere.
Around a 10 hours drive from Shoghi, Chitkul has a majestic landscape, peaceful environment and an adventurous route to reach.
Sangla and Kalpa are en-route, which themselves are great places to stay.
Chitkul is an effort to reach, but is worth the visit for a 1-2N stay near the river.

Taxi on Hire
Walking is the easiest way to get around Shoghi.
However, local Taxis on hire are available for excursions and sight-seeing.
Main market to Jujurana Homestay costs Rs.150 ( for pick-up or drop).
Drop to Shimla is around Rs.700 ( till Victory Tunnel or Lift)
Taxis will take you from Shoghi to almost anyplace in Himachal ( Manali, Dharamshala, Kalpa, Chitkul, Spiti, Narkanda etc)
