Water Sports
Lakes and Water Activities close to Granby
We love hanging out at Lake Granby. It's about 15 min from the Condo. If you put “Arapaho Bay” in your navigation it will take you close to a couple of great beach and recreation areas. It is Arapaho National Forrest land and therefore there is a fee for use. If you go on the Recreation .gov app then you can pay for it through the app. It is usually 5$ for a day pass.
If you are interested in renting a boat, kayak or paddle board there are a few rental companies in town including Highland Marina, Grand County Kayaks and Beacon Landing Marina.

Spring and summer there are outdoor concerts, hiking, biking and an alpine coaster! Go shopping downtown with over 45 unique shops. There are over 60 resturants in Winter Park to choose from. Some of our favorites are Wakin Bacon, the back cowl soup company and Goodys Mountain Creperie. You can also check out Fraser for a great tubing hill and some great brewery's. Check out “the lift” shuttle. It picks up at the Inn during ski season, so no need to worry about parking!

Winter Activities
During the winter Granby has a ton to offer. Go skiing at Granby Ranch about a 5 min drive from the condo. Tear it up snow mobiling, go ice fishing or simply enjoy the views cross country skiing or snowshoeing. If you're up for adventure you can even book yourself a dog sled or horse drawn sleigh ride.

Outdoor attractions and Can't miss attractions for summer
Granby is brimming with exciting activities to enjoy all summer long including hiking at Rocky Mountain National Park, world class golfing, mountain biking, boating, rafting, horseback riding and hunting. Granby is also home to some of the best fishing in Colorado including a portion of the Colorado river designated as Gold Medal Waters. The Fraser river also runs through town and 3 large lakes within 20 minute drive from the condo including Shadow Lake, Lake Granby and Grand Lake.

Exploring Granby with Kids
We love exploring Granby with our kids. If you have little ones our place offers a pack and play and portable high chair so you don't have to bring those with you. Some of our favorite activities include playing in the pool at the Inn. Going up to Granby Ranch- In the summer they have free crafts and nature hikes and in the winter they have a world class ski school. Granby ranch is actually one of the best places for littles to learn! Some great kid friendly hikes in the area include Adams Falls, Cascade Falls and Kawuneeche Valley Colorado River Trail in RMNP.
