Crestline Overview
Our adorable mountain town has two main streets, each with it's own charm! There's Top Town, that has quirky shops and local restaurants (including our favorite store, Hearth & Sage). Then the main drag of Crestline, with more local restaurants (we love Crestline Cafe and the Stockade), consignment shopping, coffee shop, a record store, and if you're wanting the familiar, a mountain-themed McDonalds. :)
You have to check out what we think is the world's best grocery store: Goodwin and Sons! The prices are fair, the selection is good, and best of all, there's an old-timey soda fountain inside! - EDIT: it is closed until 2024 because the roof caved in during the 2023 snowstorm. But the Jenson’s in arrowhead is just a 15 minute drive away!
And then there's the beautiful blue marble, Lake Gregory! There's a "free side" called the meadow (where you just pay for parking), or you can park for free along the road. There's also the pay-to-enter beach area with a large inflatable water toy park and water slides, that honestly, we LOVE as adults. (Our three-year-old is pretty into it too). :)

It's newly renovated but still has that classic bowling alley charm. Plus, we were pleasantly surprised to find out the pizza is really good! Go for the bowling, stay for the pizza and beer!

The entire shoreline of the lake is accessible and has a hiking trail! It's a 2.5 mile low-impact hike that goes all the way around the lake.

We think our little lake is the best in the world. It's got an inflatable water playground and waterslides, several lake beaches, swimming, and easy/free kayak/paddle board launch sites! Plus, there's a 2.5 mile walking trail that takes you all the way around the shoreline. Enjoy that anytime of the year!

A year-round amusement park with rides, and entertainment such as shows, character performances, seasonal parades, and live music! There is also a bike park, restaurants and Santa's Village!!! And it's only a 17 minute drive away!

Food Scene
Stockade has great sandwiches! Once you walk through the dive bar entry, you'll come upon the restaurant/back patio/music venue that is the awesomeness of Stockade. Technically, the dive bar is also Stockade, if that's your vibe!

A great Mexican restaurant just steps away from Lake Gregory Park! There's both inside and outside seating and we highly recommend the margaritas!
