Sightseeing
This park is within walking distance, right around the corner from the house. There is a boat dock at the end of the park, frisbee golf course, baseball fields, and lots of playgrounds for the kids.

If you have base access, this is a good beach to go to. The parking is free and it is only about 20-30 minutes from the house.

If you have base access, this is a good beach to go to. The parking is free and it is only about 20-30 minutes from the house.
This is another beach to visit. If you do not have access to the Marine Corp base, I would suggest this one. You will have to pay for a lot of the parking along this beach via their app, however there are a couple of public parking area's that are free that have bathrooms.

This is a nice aquarium along the ocean. It is about a 1 - 1.5 hours drive South, but worth the trip.

This is another aquarium that is North from the home. It is about an hour away as well. Just search for Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. It is a nice drive along Emerald Isle too.
