You'll drive or bicycle past the locomotive train at the end of Head Lake just outside of town. It connects the waterfront trail to the rail trail for hiking, biking, ATV'ing or snowmobiling in the winter.

Hikes / Skiing

Only 15 minutes away you can do a 6km loop hike on a beautiful and unique property. Afterwards, follow-up by visiting Ritchie Falls. Address: 1118 Gould Crossing Rd, Haliburton (This is off of Gelert Rd. Go past the Hospital and travel approx. 3-4 minutes and Gould Crossing Road is on your left (just opposite the driving range).
