Food Scene

Amazing mix of items that change seasonally. Normally you need reservations. It feels like you should be wearing a suit to eat here, but it is a very laid back place.

Great pizza and brews on tap. Nice little outside patio during the summer evenings. Borrow one of my growlers and bring home some beer.

Drinks & Nightlife

The bar is fun, but the small restaurant is my favorite place to grab some grub after a night out on the town. I almost always order the Satellite Scramble which is a full plate of eggs, hashbrowns, ham, gravy and cheese all mixed together. I can never finish it.

Laid back little hole in the wall. Has an outdoor patio. They only serve beer and wine. Great little local spot. They have pool tables unless they have a band playing.

Fun little place that normally attracts some of the college age crowd from Gonzaga. If it is your birthday you can spin the wheel for prizes.

June through September you can float the river in Spokane. Always a good time. We normally just take tubes and float from peaceful valley to Riverside state park in about 3-4 hours. Row Adventures also has a guided one. http://www.rowadventurecenter.com/package/spokane-river-float-trip

Climb up the little mountain in the park and you will find a flat grass area on the very top that is surrounded by a low stone wall. Great place to watch the sunset. I've found evidence of camp fires up there, but have no idea of the legality of such a thing.
