St Davids Cathedral is situated in St Davids, Britain's smallest city, in our lovely county of Pembrokeshire. St Davids is one of the great historic shrines of Christendom. Nowhere in Britain is there a more ancient cathedral settlement, for it reaches back fourteen centuries and survived the plunder of the Norsmen in the 'Dark Ages'. Free entry but donations recommend. https://www.stdavidscathedral.org.uk

Worth popping into if you are spending some time having a wander around Milford Marina/Waterfront . At the museum, they’ll take you back to the Bronze Age with an amazing recent discovery before exploring the whaling and fishing industries (and how they put Milford Haven on the map). Then they'll bring you back to the 21st century by looking at the role Milford Haven plays in supporting the world's energy demands. They even offer audio tours in English, Welsh and German to help guide you through the many exhibitions. https://www.milfordhavenmuseum.co.uk

Shopping

Although more enjoyable for wandering around on dry days (as with most places!). As well as having many independent shops, Narberth is home to some lovely antique shops too, all having their own quirkiness. Bazaar, Malthouse and Narberth antiques & interiors. There are also some great places to eat, offering lots of various choices to suit all palates. (I’ve listed some recommendations in my main guide book). Well worth a visit, come rain or shine! One of the cheapest car park’s around too!!
