A lovely restaurant, but they also offer a unique experience by having a Trout Farm on the property. The location is only a half mile from the cabin and main property and is a neat place to take the kids or even have fun yourself.

An absolutely breathtaking view of the Ozarks. Magnificent scenic view, wildflowers, waterfall (spring) and a great place for photos. 3 mile round trip hike. The beginning of the hike is fairly easy, but it does follow along very steep bluff line (without guardrails), so be extremely cautious and take it easy.

One of the most hiked trails in Arkansas, fairly easy hike for most hikers (depending on how far down the trail you go). 3.5 miles round trip, you'll enjoy caves and water falls and if you are daring and want to go spelunking (bring a flashlight), there is a cave to explore.

Here at Bear Creek Lodging, we are blessed to be located in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Plenty of green hills, rolling meadows and wonderful lakes and rivers. Established in 1972, the Buffalo National River flows freely for 135 miles and is one of the few remaining undammed rivers in the lower 48 states. Once you arrive, prepare to journey from running rapids to quiet pools while surrounded by massive bluffs as you cruise through the Ozark Mountains down to the White River. In addition to canoeing, kayaking and camping there are hundreds of hiking trails located all along the banks of the Buffalo and surrounding areas. The park encompasses over 95,000 acres that surround the free-flowing Buffalo, much of which is linked together by a growing network of trails to accommodate hiking and equestrian-based recreational activities. These trail systems also offer numerous side hikes to locations that showcase the natural and human history that have shaped the region. Check out https://www.nps.gov/buff/index.htm for more information trails and river activities available. In addition to the river, there are several lake connections within driving distances of the lodging – including Bull Shoals Lake, Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo.
