Speyburn as the bird flies is the closest distillery to the Kennels take the next left towards Rothes and follow the single track road take it very slowly for 2.1 miles about 5 minutes drive

Walk a little part of the Speyside Way from Aberlour to Craigellachie easy 2.5 miles pub/food at each end and dead flat. Can be a little muddy if wet. Craigellachie is 5 miles from the cottage. Park down slip road just across the main bridge over the river Spey. The Highlander Inn white building 500 yards can be accessed just off the Speyside Way. The Mash Tun pub is at Aberlour just after the old railway station.
