Best place for Fish and Seafood on the Island, if you ask me. Its a little far from the house but a Bolt or Heetch will always get you there. I recommend going before sunset. Enjoying the Ocean still at light is nice and staying there a few hours is easy.
Follow the recommendations from the owner. He always has an interesting catch of the day and some fantastic specialities to try. Ever tried Sea dates? If not, go for it. You will not regret it!

Best place for Fish and Seafood on the Island, if you ask me. Its a little far from the house but a Bolt or Heetch will always get you there. I recommend going before sunset. Enjoying the Ocean still at light is nice and staying there a few hours is easy.
Follow the recommendations from the owner. He always has an interesting catch of the day and some fantastic specialities to try. Ever tried Sea dates? If not, go for it. You will not regret it!
Little more expensive but certainly worth the price! Try this Michelin Star Rated place and if you can get on one of the Balconies to do the Maltese tasting dinner. The view is great from everywhere but if you are with two and you want to offer your partner something truly outstanding then this is worth considering.

The place is actually owned by a Belgian Gentleman but has some great food from the Med, combined with Belgian beers or some good Maltese or European Wines. Their Pizza is fantastic, made by a Sicilian Chef and the prices are reasonable. A good dinner option but also serves some amazing breakfast.

Walking distance from the house, you can reach this place by just following the promenade from the American University direction Senglea. If you go before sunset you can see Birgu on the other side during the golden hour. Enjoy a nice glass of chilled white wine and amazing seafood whilst the Three Cities are showing their most beautiful face.

Located on Merchant Street this is a true exception to the normal Tourist traps you find here. Go here if you want to enjoy the atmosphere of Valletta and if you want something worth to remember on your plate and in your glass.

Use Bolt, Uber or Heetch
Getting around on the Island is easy, just dont use the public Taxis. They are overpriced.
Best download one of the following apps, create an account and go wherever you want:
- Bolt: Marketleader in Malta. Normaly the most expensive option amongst the apps, but waiting time is seldom over two minutes.
- Uber: Global app, you know what you get. Prices are ok, waiting time is still long since they are new on the island
- Heetch, often the cheapest but with fewer cars than Bolt. If you order in time this is the best option to get anywhere

If you don't mind driving on the left, this app is an easy solution for you do explore the Maltese Islands.
Create your account as quick as you can since they need to verify your license.
You will find many GoTo Cars and Scooters everywhere on the island so city hopping or moving within you areas is easy.
Just observe that cars and scooters must be returned in the designated areas.
