Independent shops
Narberth is a nice little town to visit. It has small independent boutique type shops, antique shops and Fire & Ice, a little shop that sells ice-cream and gin. What more could you want?

Local pubs
The Evergreen is literally a two minute walk from us (I've timed it). It's a really nice little traditional pub, away from the crowds of town. The locals are friendly and welcoming. They don't tend to stay open late, but, it's only a five minute walk into town from there. Every Tuesday, they have an acoustic night.

Bar 10
Saint George's StreetRight in town is Bar 10, it's always lively, with a good atmosphere and music to dance to.
Food scene
There are too many excellent restaurants in Tenby to list them all. Everyone seems to be raving about On George, specialising in seafood. The Willow Tree is another very good restaurant for day and evening dining. In my opinion, Park Road and Tenby Fish & Chips are the best chip shops, Tasty Cafe is the best Chinese take away and Ocean View cafe for the best breakfast. Oh, I nearly forgot our favourite spot, The Old Chapel, where you can get first class home made soups and sandwiches, real tea in a real tea pot and fabulous home made cakes. There's no charge for the food, but you are welcome to leave a donation if you wish. It's always cool in there through the summer, with a relaxed atmosphere, you'll find yourself chilling out there for hours. Open 9am to 4pm.

If you don't mind a bit of walking, Swanlake Bay is the perfect escape from the crowds. Drive to Manorbier beach and take the coastal path West. It's not too far, but it is quite rough terrain. Head East along the coastal path and you'll come across steps down to Presipe Bay, another stunning bay that you can often get all to yourself.
