A great walk through the woods at SERC is perfect for the whole family. Make sure to take a look at their hours before heading out as they are closed Sunday's and some Saturday's throughout the year.

Great place to bring the kids and look for sharks teeth. This beach is about 5 mins past North Beach from our house. Check restrictions before going as sometimes the county restricts access on weekends to residents of North Beach only.

This is a community beach that is open to the public. It has a playground, picnic tables, protected swimming area, and parking. It is roughly 20 minutes from the house.

This is a great nature park with trails that circle a fishing pond or the beach. We often see horseshoe crabs here and it is a nice place to get some energy out.

North Beach is about 20 mins from our house as well. It's a nice quaint town with a water park, boardwalk, beaches, and restaurants.

Patent Pending Fishing Charters
Capt. John has a beautiful 46' boat that leaves a marina about 15 mins from our house. His prices and service cannot be beat and because of this you need to make reservations in advance.

A Boat Rental
You are free to rent a boat and use our pier during your stay. There are several boat rental companies in the area to choose from. When getting a boat make sure to tell them we have about 24" of water at low tide so they can recommend the best boat for you.

You can have groceries delivered from Whole Foods via the Amazon app. We typically have things delivered during a 2-hour window around our arrival time and they can leave them on the porch.

Jellyfish
Watch for jellyfish. You will see them in the water if they are there and they do sting. There are two nettle net pools in the shed. These create a pool in the water that keeps jellyfish out of your swimming area. One is 12’ and one is 20’. The instructions are in the shed with the nets if you determine to use them. Please follow the instructions closely and take them out at night and rinse off before returning to the bag before you leave the house.
