Le Cannet is not only part of the suburb of Cannes. It has its own personality. Located just behind Cannes, the town of Le Cannet extends its sister to the north.
The most attractive area is the residential area of the Old Cannet. Similar to all the old southern towns, it consists of a maze of streets hiding some beautiful 1900-style villas surrounded by secret gardens, often quite large.
The Bellevue square, as its name suggests, offers an exceptional view over the bay of Cannes and the Lerins Islands. In the distance, one can guess Golfe Juan and Cap d'Antibes. It offers a few very nice restaurants.
