Though it is a little more premium, it is worth every penny! I went to Betty’s several times with my family and friends and every time, we had such a great time. Plates are fully served, the food is fresh and tasty. Also, the service is always very nice. Highly recommended!

It's my favourite place for a night out. The cocktails are good, the pina colada is lush, staff are very nice & chatty. They played latino music. It's only small but has a great vibe!

After a walk round shops, you will want to stop off for a quiet beer somewhere. This is the perfect place. They have a great selection of beers and wines, in a chilled atmosphere. They also serve delicious food that is fairly priced.

The teacher is very nice, dances extremely well, you will spend a great time whatever your level! Before going, just take a look on their facebook page "Salsa in York" as days may change from time to time.

I like having a relaxing walk round the well maintained gardens. The river Ouse with the tourist barge chugging by adds to the rustic feel of a sunday stroll in the country. You would never imagine you are in the middle of the city, which is only just the other side of the gates. Here you can turn off for a while just as some people do by going to sleep in the early summer sun. Beautiful place.

Here you can turn off for a while just as some people do by going to sleep in the early summer sun. Beautiful place.

This is the oldest street in York and in fact, it transports you back in time as soon as you step in to this wonderful alley packed with some lovely shops. And to any Harry Potter fans, you will find no less than four shops at the end of the street dedicated to the "Boy Wizard".

Amazing building and incredible history. The stained glass is very beautiful and the history has been so well preserved. You can in the tower and climb up to the rooftop, it is worth the climb to see the city of York from above.

It is a quite large indoor shopping mall with a wide selection of shops many of them clothes. On the first floor, there are also many places to eat. All in all, it is somewhere you can spend a very enjoyable afternoon especially if the weather is poor.

If you are looking for the wow factor, you will not be disappointed. It is a little shop with unusual things you never knew about. I have never bought anything because it is very expensive but it is worth a browse!
