Reraig Forest Argo Tours, takes you up the hill where you would not normally go. It gets you very close to our resident red deer, allowing you to take close up photos of relaxed deer in their natural surroundings. Booking is essential. For the more experienced kayaker we have easy access over the sea to Skye, only a 10 minute drive away.
Food Scene
Lovely Restaurant that serves from 10am. Great place to stop on the way to Attadale, Plockton and Skye. As well as food, they offer a superb display of whisky along with a whisky tasting experience.

Local Community run Cafe approximately eight miles from Ardaneaskan. It serves lovely breakfast and lunch items with ever changing specials. It also had a small display of gifts. There is a couple of walks around the area of the cafe which lead to an treehouse built by the community.

Beautiful small cafe situated at the bottom of the Bealach na ba (famous road to Applrcross. It is also a great stop when travelling to Shieldaig and beyond. As well as the Café, there is a gallery with local art and gifts.

It has the steepest ascent of any road climb in the UK, rising from sea level at Applecross to 626 metres (2,054 ft), and is the third highest road in Scotland. Once you get to Applecross, the Applecross Inn is highly recommended for food and drink.
