Similar to Silver Beach, except it is usually much less busy and you won't find food stands nearby. You also can easily walk the pier to the old lighthouse which is a family favorite! There are also parking fees for this beach.

This is our family's favorite beach as it is usually much less busy and more relaxing than the beaches found by the pier. Fun for families, there is a playground and concessions on the weekend. There is also an entrance fee for vehicles.

If you're looking to get out of town for a day, about a 30 minute drive North, South Haven will offer you great beaches, a vibrant town and wonderful restaurants. We recommend you visit The Idler - a restaurant on an old boat!

About 30 minutes South, New Buffalo is a cute town on Lake Michigan with quaint shops and restaurants. If you're coming or going from Chicago, we recommend taking a pit-stop in New Buffalo and visit the infamous Stray Dog.
