Philp Beach is a short walk from the cottage down the road and across M-24 at the pedestrian crossing.
The park there has picnic tables, charcoal grills, amazing sand, clear water for swimming and lots of Beach fun with neighbors and visitors to the area.

Downtown Caseville is a great place to visit, check out local shops and restaurants, Caseville County Park, the Caseville Break Wall, and the Caseville Farmers Market most Saturdays in the summer from 10-3 p.m.

Port Crescent State Park has beach access but also miles of trails some via boardwalk through the sand dunes. Walk to the mouth of the Pinnebog River meeting Lake Huron for fantastic views.
