City/town to visit
Go to Groote Keeten (little town) for their beach! You can find there beautiful dunes and a clean sand beach with one beachclub. Buy an icecream, go swimming or play beachgames at the beach. In the little town you won't find shops, but you do find one nice restaurant: de princen keet.

A cosy small beach-village with many nice shops and amazing beaches including beachclubs. Also has this town an awardwinning icecream maker; I highly recommend to visit this icecream shop!

A beautiful small city with a city centre which is alive and cosy: many shops & restaurants situated around the big church. Schagen has also a trainstation which takes you directly and within 1 hour to Amsterdam centre. We also have swimming pools, bowling centre, schools and many good grocery stores. And please don't forget the beautiful beaches, dunes and forests nearby!

Schagen
A beautiful small city with a city centre which is alive and cosy: many shops & restaurants situated around the big church. Schagen has also a trainstation which takes you directly and within 1 hour to Amsterdam centre. We also have swimming pools, bowling centre, schools and many good grocery stores. And please don't forget the beautiful beaches, dunes and forests nearby!
Dinner/Food
This Indian restaurant has amazing food, made with love and good ingredients. Everything is vega(n) and for meatlovers: you won't miss the meat! There is a good vibe and there work loving people. This is our favourite restaurant and we drive happily 30 minutes for it (and the city Alkmaar is also nice to visit!)

On Thursdays outdoor market in Schagen.
A regional/outdoor Market in the city centre of Schagen on Thursdays. And in the months of june, july and august and a little of september you find "Westfriese Folkloremarkt": people wearing traditional dutch clothing with horses, kids and farm wagons walking through the streets of Schagen.
