Neighbourhoods

The capital is a great place to visit. There are Forts, markets and a lovely harbor. It can get very hot so we recommend early morning or late afternoon/evening visits. Although walkable from the cottage, it is a short drive or a number 1 bus you can get right outside the property.

Beach

Despite Grenada having the famous Grand Anse Beach, Morne Rouge Beach is our favorite. It is easily reachable withing the Grand Anse area and is a more intimate and sheltered bay. It is also home to a great beach bar - La Plywood. Try the fish tacos.

The famous Grand Anse Beach is a very short walk from the cottage. There is a short cut down to the start of the beach which stops you from having to walk along the road too long. Take a right out of the cul de sac and walk for 2 minutes down the road. Go past the 'D Favourite Spot' and you will find a steep foot path on your right. Head down the path and you hit the sea! From there you can walk along the beach past the Silver Sands Hotel and pick a spot along the huge beach. You can get a pretty good breakfast at 51 degrees west. The Spice Market is a good spot that has showers, toilets, parking, and a great little bar with the best pina coladas called Esthers. Sunbeds should be no more than $10 ECD
